Synopsis[]
Shou Wang Arc[]
Zhao, a Chinese freelance killer, receives a request to kill Fu Jian and retrieve the virus samples he is hiding. Fu Jian is watching television and begins shouting when Zhao enters. After being beaten and having a blade turned on him, Fu Jian quiets and submits to Zhao's questioning. He states his name, and when asked for the virus he is hiding, glances toward a painting on the wall, revealing a safe hidden behind it. Realizing that Zhao intends to kill him, Fu Jian attempts to trade the contents of the safe for his life. Zhao has already recorded him saying his name, however, and beheads the executive with his lancet. With his head, voice recording, and a severed finger, Zhao accesses the safe and retrieves the cases inside for his client. His kleptomaniac nature compels him to steal a vial of virus and anti-virus from the cases, and he relieves Fu Jian's body of his ring and other valuables before departing.
