When Tadafumi Izuka began working as the driver for Club Eve, he and Kaori often had time alone and eventually fell in love. Knowing that his wife, Kumiko Izuka, would never agree to a divorce, Tadafumi and Kaori began saving portions of their paychecks to hire an assassin to kill her.

Kaori is working during Lin's only shift as a hostess at Club Eve. After he escapes from Long Fang Wang, Kaori asks him about his shift and makes light conversation. She supplies him with information about Long Fang's visits and advises him to be careful.
Kaori begs Jiro to avenge Tadafumi
After learning of Tadafumi's death in the news, Kaori meets Jiro Tanaka at a bar in Nakasu where she tells him about her affair and plans to have Kumiko murdered. Feeling empathetic toward her for the loss of her lover, Jiro accepts her request to take revenge on Tadafumi's killer.
